Spring Donors Needed!!!!
Please do your part now.
Kisma Preserve is a donor funded 501-c-3 organization dedicated to exotic animal care and education for over 25 years. This is the time of year we need you more than ever. The bridge season. Pre Summer tours and visitors.
We need 100 people to give us at least $100, or whatever you can. We each have friends. Please share our appeal and together we can achieve this goal and continue to be here for our animal family. We really need you in this troubled time in our world.
Copies of this beautiful Wolf print, inspired by her wolf encounter experience at the preserve, have been donated by artist Colette Theriault as an incentive and thank you gift for anyone who gives us $200 or more by May 1, 2012.

North American Wildlife
The North American section of the preserve houses animals that are generally native to Maine, with a few exceptions from other regions. Some of these were originally wild and could not be released because of injury, behavior or legal restrictions. Throughout the year we receive a wide variety of local wild life in crisis which are treated, released or transferred to a facility specializing in that particular species.
Our North American species include Wolf, Coyote, Black Bear, Raven, Vulture, Owl, White Tailed Deer, Alligator, Lynx, Bobcat, Raccoon and others.

BIG CATS
The Cat area includes animals with many histories. There are pampered retirees from show business, a "pet" lion from a yacht, and placements from zoos. These include some of the top predators on the planet, and some of the most endangered.
Our Big Cat species include include Lion, and 3 color phases of Tiger including standard, white, and the rare Golden Tabby Tiger.
